Sony PTZ Camera is a new technology product launched by Sony In the World of cameras. Sony PTZ Camera is a high-quality color video camera with the pan/tilt/zoom operations. The product comes with a remote. The same remote control can be used to operate on three cameras by setting the button on the backside of camera. It has an 18x optical zoom lens,and 12x digital zoom lens.It allows the user to zoom in on a small or distant object with exceptional clarity. Compared to its predecessor, the EVI-D70 camera offers a wider pan/tilt range, and a faster pan/tilt mechanism. Above all, this camera is ceiling mountable.It has Wide Range Pan/Tilt, 340 Degrees Pan/120 Degrees Tilt. Pan operation is to move the camera in horizontal direction and tilt for up and down. Since this camera has the pan, tilt, zoom features, it has more advantages than cctv cameras which are static in nature. This cameras can be used for security and surveillance applications.These cameras can be mounted on the ceiling of a room or in a office for surveillance purposes.
